| I'm a self-taught artist/illustrator, originally from Washington state, now residing near the capital of Montana. I started out painting fairies and things like that, but my art is starting to mature and the fairies are hard to come by these days. I live with my wonderful fiance Luke and our two cats, a fish and a dog. |
Yesterday was my birthday, I turned 22. It was also my fiance, Luke's birthday, he turned 29. He gave me a "happy light" to put next to my desk. I get seasonal depression really bad and it had already started. The lamp actually helps a lot, so I am excited to get back to working on a regular, insane schedule.
If you are in need of your own happy light, I believe he obtained mine at Costco for about $50. Not bad at all.
I just wanted to remind people, that when you add someone's artwork to a collection, they do see the name of the collection. So before you name your latest collection, "big tits", "so-so", "wouldn't wipe my ass with it" and so forth, think about the fact that the artist *will* see what you have titled the collection you put their artwork in. I get some really weird ones, but I have to say, the big boobs ones bug me the most. My artwork is not about big boobs. Reducing it to being about big boobs is really insulting. /rant
I am working on some commissioned work right now, but I am hoping that as soon as I am done with that I will be able to work on some personal art that has been put on the back burner lately. I've got some more werewolves, a wizard and a couple of other things in the works, just not enough time to do them right now!
I am still taking commissions though! So if you want anything done, send me a note or e-mail. Rates right now are $100 for the first character and a background (nothing crazy detailed) and $150 for two characters and a background. If you want one character and a crazy detailed background we can work something out for rates.
Features are from my favourites and deviations I have commented on:

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark.
And a large group of professionals built the Titanic.
And never fret over things people say because you are the artist and as long as your work comes from your heart that"s all we want to see. Another thing I never give critiques because I believe what the artist lets us see comes from there soul/dreams.
Please don't leave even if I don't post on all I do admire all.
I have a poster from the Shrewsbury Fest in my bedroom. I lub it.

A previous Tsar in Russia was known to throw cats and dogs from the church belfry.
And we wonder why our Ivan Braginsky is so insane....
