This is one of my most recent watercolor paintings. I've been meaning to do more mermaids in digital art but ended up doing one traditionally. Oh well, I really like it anyway and it was a lot of fun. There is something about holding the original in your hands that beats the tar out of digital art any day.
The original is still available but won't be for long. You can bid on it at eBay, but if it doesn't sell there it will either be going to Dragoncon or another convention art show. The winner receives the painting, matted by me and framed by my grandfather in recycled weathered old wood. It really looks like dirftwood and I love the new style of frames. It's true, traditional art is better than digital, even though digital is cleaner. Unfortunately, progress demands that artists be skilled in both fields in order to last. I'm glad to see you're talented at digital and traditional painting as well.
