So I "finished" this one about a year ago. I didn't think it would be very popular so I released a limited edition run of 75 prints. Some of them were lost when I moved, and the rest sold out in record time, making this one of my best-selling and most popular paintings. Once it was gone I decided I needed to make another version of it and improve some glaring errors. So one year later, almost to the day, here is the new version.
I suspect the reason it sells so well is people believe they are lesbians. Heh. So I sexed it up a little bit. Might as well make the most of it, right?
Various purchased references for the anatomy and I used some of my mounted/framed butterflies for reference on the mask and butterflies. The rest of it was all out of my head.
You can post it on blogs, your site or whatever, as long as you give credit and link back to my gallery. You may not use it as stock, for brushes, tubes, layouts, or banners, or on projects that you are going to be making money from.
Well, as Nene Thomas once said, an artist can never be sure which of their pieces will appeal most to the public.

I like the sailing teaming. Well, it's true that the moon could pull it back far away from me. I like the orphan sea. Well, we were never invisible but oh! I guess we could not see: We'll be crushed by the ocean But it will not get us wet. ~Modest Mouse

Often when we look for something we cant find it until we stop looking. Is it the same with love?
You chipped my mask. Now its broken in two, and i seem to be lost in you.
Just a blue eyes girl
Lost in the world
Broken and bruised
Lost and confused

A real friend can look at you when you have the biggest smile on your face and ask 'whats wrong?'
If You really love something,
it's better to set it free.
When it comes back to You
it'll be Yours forever.
